The EC135 can trace
its history back to before the formation of Eurocopter. It was started as
the BO 108 by MBB of Germany in the mid-eighties. A technology demonstrator
('V1') flew for the first time on 17 October 1988, powered by two Allison

type radio control helicopter of the EC-135 by Art-Tech. Roughly the

Big Lama, it is one of the few true
beginner's helicopter that can be flown both indoor and outdoor.
Powered by two 370 motors, the EC-135 has great power against the wind.
Any beginners helicopter pilot will be amazed at how easy it is to fly this
chopper. The EC-135 is included with everything that is required to
fly (less the 8-AA transmitter batteries). It comes assembled right
out of the box so all you need to do is charge the lipo battery and you're

For beginners, flying the Art-Tech EC135 out of ground effect (first few
inches off the ground) is not difficult either. Unlike other micros, the
Art-Tech EC135 tends to rise evenly rather than skate across the floor
laterally. If you punch the throttle, it has no hesitation in climb either.
